$600 designer sneakers feature dirt, tears and duct tape

$600 designer sneakers feature dirt, tears and duct tape

In case you don't have the patience to wear in sneakers for yourself, you can now blow your latest paycheck on a pair of pre-dirtied, pre-ripped and pre-duct taped kicks.

Fancy brand Golden Goose is selling the Distressed Superstar Sneakers at Barneys for approximately $600 a pair – but you can't really put a price on the creating the illusion of being a chill person who wears comfy sneaks so often that they're nearly destroyed.

Not only are the shoes covered in what looks like dirt, but the pink pair features very frayed laces and appears to be held together by duct tape

Thrift stores wouldn't sell anything that looks that beaten up.

OTOH, that duct-tape looking substance might actually be sterling silver.

However, I currently have 3 pairs that are sporting duct tape and broken laces (don't get excited everyone!), and even worse in my closet. I'll let them go for the bargain price of $200 a piece.

See mom, my old Skater shoes weren't that bad after all!

If any of my guitars looked like that, i'd get them repainted. That looks terrible.

Trayon Christian, 19 and an engineering student at the time, bought a $349 belt from Barneys. The store called the cops on him for using a "fake debit card" - they didn't believe a young African-American male could possibly have that kind of money legitimately.

Come on guys, in New York City it's super easy and a lot less than $600 to get a pair of shoes that look like they came off the feet of a homeless guy: simply walk around for a few hours until you find an Actual Homeless Guy who has feet about the same size as yours, and buy him a new pair of shoes.
