The problem is the Republican Party.

The Republican Party begat the Tea Party.

The Tea Party begat Donald Trump.

But it has been the establishment of the Republican Party that has blocked and obstructed everything that may have benefited Republican and Democratic voters alike. Their deception and lies to their supporters reached an apex and many of their voters deserted the Republican cause.

Now, establishment Republicans are telling these former supporters to disregard the crazy campaign of Donald Trump and go to the polls and vote "down ballot" and save their positions of power.

This is the bottom-line basic strategy of the Republican candidates for re-election. They hope to deceive their supporters just one more time...

Trump supporters voted against 15 other primary opponents to nominate Trump as their candidate. It's difficult for me to imagine that they would be very enthusiastic about any "down ballot" races.
