Cuban on Trump's tax issues: 'You can't be brilliant at anything if you think you've never failed'
During his usual pregame workout on the stair-stepper, Mark Cuban saw a line on the news channel he was watching that Donald Trump "brilliantly" and legally used tax laws to his advantage.
The Mavericks' owner said that's smart and that any good business owner has done that.
What's not smart, he said, is how Trump has handled the situation when news of his tax situation leaked out.
"Yes, absolutely I have," Cuban said when asked if he'd ever used the tax laws to save him money. "But, if you asked me what I did, I'm not ashamed to tell you I'm not ashamed to explain what I did.
