I had stopped watching MJ in the mornings while I'm getting ready for work. Yesterday and today I tuned in and was reminded why I quit watching to begin with.
They aren't reporting or commenting on the news. They are trying to make certain stories stick. The whole Bill Clinton thing just isn't that big of a deal. He shouldn't have said it they way he said it, but I think most Americans would agree that Obamacare is mostly successful, but it is creating a lot of anxiety among the middle class and small businesses. I want everyone to have healthcare in this country. I like the ideals and progress that Obamacare can lead to, but I think a lot of reasonable people would say, let's keep it, but let's improve it! Done.
Morning Joe and the Trump Campaign is trying to act like this is good news for them, but I would say most people that would watch that and say ok the Clintons get it. They won't dismantle it, they'll make it better. I also thinks this helps the Clintons sure up the suburban voters.
These are just my thoughts, not my beliefs. I can always change my thinking when presented with compelling evidence and articulate points.

(617 posts)I don't go in for conspiracy theories but after that rumored meeting, I sure have seen a change in how they handle Trump.
No more Amnesty Don or Twotter taunts.

(10,252 posts)It is a crazy system. It's a patchwork quilt based on private insurance. How Bill Clinton said it was not so elegant and open to misinterpretation. So bad on him for the ineligance. But Bill is right. We need to transform the ACA into a comprehensive healthcare system for everyone with plenty of community clinics and hospitals to meet the needs of our people. Phase out the ACA and for-profit healthcare to be replaced with medicare for all.
