Did anyone around here really think that Trump’s vile behavior would cause his supporters to
change their minds.. (Poll’s today show Trump Supporter’s still overwhelmingly support this vile Man)

I have noticed that practically everyone on DU who has posted a thread concerning their run in
with a trump supporter emphatically state that the supporter thinks everything going on with
Trump’s supposedly bad behavior is based Liberal Conspiracies..

This is why this election cycle has been so God Damn Frightening...

1. Can anyone understand why Trump's supporters are hanging on?

I've heard some of their excuses, and they are startling, ridiculous rationales that you would not accept from your kids. The GOP has have spent the better part of a half century building an image of Republican voters, but now the curtain has been pulled back. All their so called idealistic 'values' thingys was just lip service, and their principled responsibilities were nothing but smoke and mirrors, all those high minded standards were all fake. In their blind zeal to support Trump, those voters have trashed the GOP brand. I just don't understand what they want.
