Did you catch John Lovett on Chris Hayes's show tonight?

He's a former speech writer for President Obama.

They discussed Republicans in Congress who endorsed and then unendorsed Trump. Lovett was terrific. Passionate, articulate and completely unforgiving.

I hope there's a YouTube coming because it's a great 5 minute treat.

Sometimes a guest overcooks the risotto and you wonder who is going to be chopped but here, one guest overcooked the risotto and the over contestant cut his finger off and bled all over the plates so the judges couldn't even taste what he cooked.

Chris said I've never thought of the Chopped analogy and John said I don't know why you haven't, its the perfect analogy.

(so did I until I googled him)

Evidently he changed his last name to Lovett, which also threw me off
