I don't have the answer, but I know that 18 months of listening to Limbaugh turned my mom into a right winger. The first inkling I had of the change in her was when she started bashing teachers. The bashing of teachers is clearly an effort to dumb down the population but the root of the attack is racist. I heard this once on talk radio and had to look it up. Teachers union, specifically the NEA, began amongst black educators. You can carry that out along their normal whackadoodle line of thinking.
