I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated

Even with her wealth and fame. Even though she had body guards. It did not protect her from the gropers in this world.

This is disgusting. Even made worse is that the guy who groped her is suing HER. She dared to make a big stink about it and he lost his job, so he sues HER, his victim.

With her fame and power, she is made to feel violated. He claims he did no such thing. Even though there is photo evidence, HER word is questioned.

Now you know why women don't come forward. They get labeled a liar even though their is evidence to the contrary. Then she has to fight to keep the evidence of her assault out of the media.

If he was the star and she was the DJ what would have happened if he had groped her then? The exact same thing we see going on with Trump. They would have kept their mouths shut out of fear of what he could do to them.

Taylor Swift succeeded in her effort to keep from the public a photo of a DJ allegedly groping her during a 2013 pre-concert meet-and-greet when a judge decided Friday (Oct. 21) to seal the pictures. However, the judge's decision to deny Swift's request to withhold other evidence in the case means the transcript of her July 26 deposition about the alleged incident is now publicly available. In the deposition, Swift is asked to recount the incident in detail several times, and speaks of her embarrassment and discomfort at the time.
The photo is evidence in a lawsuit that arose after a June 2013 concert, when Swift's security team accused Denver radio DJ David Mueller of grabbing her inappropriately while they posed for a photo backstage with several other people. Two days later, Mueller was fired from his job at KYGO radio. In 2015,

"It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life."

Swift also recounts how much the alleged incident upset her. "I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before," Swift said in the deposition. "A meet-and-greet is supposed to be a situation where you're thanking people for coming, you're supposed to be welcoming people into your home, which is the arena for that day, and for someone to violate that hospitality in that way, I was completely stunned."

Mueller later sued Swift for slander, saying that he may have touched Swift by accident, and that it was actually his former boss who grabbed her. After Mueller sued Swift, she countersued him for assault and battery, saying she would donate any money she won to charitable organizations that work to protect women from sexual assault.

I am so sick of hearing about this shit. And this is just the stuff we hear about. There are millions of women who have to put up with this on a daily basis who keep their mouths shut for one reason or another. it's time to bring these bastards out into the open.

Millions of women. Here is an example of one woman who did not keep her mouth shut and look what she is going through. All it shows to the millions of women is that by speaking up they will be raked over the coals and called liars. So to protect their own reputation; say nothing.

I bookmark every thread like this for the next time some guy oh-so-innocently asks "Why didn't she say anything?" Then he oh-so-innocently insists "I was just asking a question."

When we hear Donald Trump bellowing how he grabs 'em 'by the pussy' we are quite understandably outraged....

But when we hear women say that they WERE grabbed by ... what-have-you ... there is a tendency for some people to automatically label them LIARS.

Why is it that abusers get a pass, and those they abuse are often accused of lying?

It makes no damn sense to me, frankly. If we believe a man like Trump when he says he did it, we should also believe women who say that this kind of thing was done TO them.
