(6,568 posts)I voted for Murphy already, but he's not polling well enough, IMHO. It's an uphill battle going against a popular incumbent. Central FL is QUITE red, and they love them some Rubio.

(7,596 posts)I see Rubio ads on TV all the time and never any Murphy ones, so why is Marco not putting him away like, say, Rob Portman in Ohio is with Strickland? That seems to be an indication that people of this state don't think all that highly of him.

(42,307 posts)From what I've heard, he doesn't have much name recognition. Local Dems here are voting for him and our RW newspaper actually endorsed him over Rubio today
Polls are tightening. I think he'll benefit from just being on the D ticket. I would love to see Rubio lose.

(121 posts)The decision by the national Democratic campaign committees to pull funding for Murphy certainly hasn't helped.... BIG reason why I no longer give ANY money to the DNC or any national Democratic campaign committees. I pick and choose for myself which candidates to donate to.
Where is Howard Dean's 50 state strategie when you need it?? 😳🙄🤔
