The Fact That Hilary Is Not Up Dbl Digits In Every State Embarrassing. Reveals Sickness In US

Trump is so bad and the GOP is so bad Hillary should be set to win all 50 states by a wide margin. Any vote for Trump supports racism, misogyny, bigotry et al. We should be ashamed that Trump is even on any ballot anywhere. We reveal who we are in this campaign. And we are NOT great as a nation in this manner.

One thing about Trump is he has brought out the part of the population that really is un American no matter how many flags they wave. The question is how we have gotten to this point.

We need to especially focus on the state gov and legislature races. The reason the Republicans have so many idiots voting for them is because they gerrymandered the map after the last census. Republican state legislatures have cut cut cut funding for public education and actively tried to destroy teacher unions and tenure for college faculty. Pretty hard to have informed electorate, when no one teaches critical thinking anymore.

The suburbs and more rural areas of the country tend to be more conservative than the big cities. And that's something that has been true for a long time.

Different philosophies based on where people live. If you are out in the country, your life moves a bit slower and quieter. You don't have as much crime as the cities. Gun violence isn't as big of a problem. The local area may be able to focus more on schools. So your mindset just starts to become more conservative. You feel like you don't really need the government for much.

The gun issue is the biggest divide geographically. Someone out in the country who owns some guns may have never seen a gun crime. They may not know a single person who was shot. To them, there is absolutely no gun problem at all. So they ask, "Why does the government want my guns?"
But in the city, gangs are going around doing drive-bys. People are being shot by accident. Crime is high. etc.. to these people, guns are a huge problem.

But this is why you have a debate. Not everyone in America lives the same way. Not everyone has grown up with the same experiences. And this is why we have to be careful what kind of laws you pass on the federal level. Because what works wonderfully in the northeast of the country, could hurt people in the south...or vice-versa. This is a big country with a lot of different types of people in it.

Agendas, policies and philosophies, preferring denatured jargon-jive to party stands so as not to offend and threaten corporate America with whom it has made an uneasy peace. Even to defend itself is too risky, and has for years has allowed the GOPers unlimited and un-contested redefinitions of the Democrats. Democrats are synonymous with "hated enemy" to tens of millions of Americans. Now, when Democrats win, it is largely by grand defaults. We need to face this: Most of those tRump supporters & Teapartyers ARE disaffected and largely cut out of the national discussion. Until now.

We cannot control the GOP and the FR. We CAN change who we are and what we stand for. Then the "numbers" won't look so "sick."

It also reveals polarization over some core issues. I'd like to think that if the situations were reversed and we had that hateful candidate, that I would do the right thing and cross party lines. This of course requires a stretch of the imagination because its almost impossible to imagine democrats choosing someone so vile in the primaries. But the reality is it would be a difficult choice for some of us because of the ideologies at stake.

What if the D candidate had been caught on tape bragging about sexual assault and then accused by a dozen women? And also you knew that voting for the R candidate meant losing the supreme court for a generation and reshaping the constitution on issues like abortion and marriage inequality and voting rights and guns. There is a sizable percentage of the republican base which is deplorable and votes for Trump for all the wrong reasons, but I also believe there are a lot of traditional republicans who will hold their noses and vote for Trump and rationalize it for ideological reasons.

I'm not defending Trump or people voting for him, I'm just saying if religion and abortion were the most important issues to me, I could see ignoring a lot of BS about an individual candidate if I thought ideological concerns were at stake.

Even worse now. It'll take generations to get better, if it can.

where the winner was not that charismatic or overwhelming and where the loser was not all that bad, but never has a loser been--- such a loser! Up against history this election(minus the usual GOP fraud and media failure) will be judged by how America rewards turds in modern times with hate, criminal loyalty and utter stupidity. By past standards he shouldn't be getting one single state. Who will be the lucky diehard states to brand themselves on the books as having the least character in any American election since George Washington?

My sister is one of them and I let her have too. She is disgusted with the language but I told her she had been for the people since the 1990's. It was a bitter pill for her to swallow.

He was the one that started uncivil discourse and the Republican establishment loved him.

Now they have to reap what they have reap what he has sewn.

Remember how he talked about how ugly Amy Carter is?
