College student smashed into police car while sending topless selfie to boyfriend

A student crashed into a parked police car while she was allegedly sending her boyfriend a topless selfie.

Miranda Rader, was also allegedly found with an open bottle of wine in a cup holder next to her, police said.

Police officer John Sartell was responding to a call and had left his patrol vehicle parked at the side of the road with the emergency lights on.

The accident took place on Wednesday, near the Texas A&M University about 100 miles northwest of Houston.

Officer Sartell said: “"I heard the sound of a vehicle braking hard and heard what sounded like a vehicle collision.”

When he went to investigate he saw that a grey car had ploughed into the rear of his vehicle.

The officer said as he approached the car he saw the 20-year-old wearing an unclasped bra and attempting to put her blouse on.

"I asked her why she was not dressed while driving and she stated that she was taking a Snapchat photo to send to her boyfriend while she was at a red light," the officer from Bryan, Texas, added.

She was arrested for DUI.
