Does anybody else plan on taking Wednesday off from work?

I am taking a vacation day. Whatever happens, I know that I will not be able to focus on working so I have decided to take the day off and focus on the election results. I am pretty sure it will turn out in our favor, but I am definitely expecting a backlash.

If it doesn't turn out in our favor, I am going to be too depressed to function.

I think that better the day after be a holiday. Or move Election Day to a Friday, as most people already have Saturday off.

I don't go full drunk often. Tuesday is a paid holiday, and, for once, I'm taking it off. I work second shift, so the election should be called by then. The double pay would be nice, and I could use it, but there are a lot of "conservatives" in my field, and I don't want to hear the whining from third shift when they come in.

because I knew, whether the news was good OR bad, I would be up late on Election Day. You should take Wednesday off. That way you can enjoy Hillary's speech when she wins and enjoy Trump's enormous tantrum when he loses. And the day after will have lots of good stuff going on about our first female President! Hillary 2016!

I was basically worthless at work all this week, just really distracted. Looking at polls, online, here, whatever. I should have taken Monday too probably.

if it is anything like the 2012 election,I will be at the poll until early morning. The election will most likely be called before I even get home. Just the same, I am retired so I will be up the rest of the night to watch the coverage and most of Wednesday as well...I will be too excited to sleep.

Presuming it's good news I'll probably come on here after my friends leave, & have some fun. As for the next day, yeah that's a great idea because it'll be a late night.

Voting day truly should be a holiday. Especially for the damn midterms too. We really need to get out the vote for those midterms!
