A video to cure the "Morning Joe" addiction

Here's a 2008 video clip from David Gregory's old MSNBC show where Scar had one of his classic snit-fits, only with someone who just wasn't having it, so he stomped off the set.

Both Joe Scarborough and Rachel Maddow were among 4 or 5 panel members. Soon after Rachel began talking, Joe tried to cut her off, but she doesn't let him.

So when they came back from a break, Joe apparently had been stewing on it and so accused Rachel of trying to stage a "Crossfire" shout-out, only she reminded him that, no, it was he who tried to cut HER off.

Gregory then posed a question to a different panel member, but while he's talking, you can hear some clatter, which turns out to be Joe taking off his mic and leaving. When the segment ends with a "Hollywood Squares" split screen of all panel members, Joe is MIA.

I watched the show in real time back in 2008 and remember comments made later about Joe's sudden departure.

What an infantile little jackass Scarborough is... as if his RW political views aren't enough reason to boycott his show.

seen to have a TV with no off button. And that's apparently hard-wired in so they can't unplug it, either.

I normally listen to NPR in the morning. But when I occasionally turn on the TV to check the Weather Channel, I'll get Morning Joe first thing, since MSNBC is usually the last thing watched the night before.

In no time, I'm arguing with the putz Joe and hanging on waiting for someone to put him in his place. Of course, it only very rarely happens, so there goes a half-hour of my life I'll never get back again.

It's not gonna happen again, though. I swear.

I'm frequently amazed at how many people turn on their set and forget there's an off button. Or that there are more than two or three channels.

I feel as if I'm far better informed than most people because I get my news and information from sources other than the main stream media.

I wake up every morning to Amy Goodman. Then my local community radio station has an hour of the BBC. A bit later on I might listen to Terry Gross, then Diane Rehm. Although Diane seems to be far too comfortable with the right wing for my tastes, but sometimes her discussions are enlightening.

I've heard he had Rachel on his show ONCE, and she probably showed him up then, as she's never, to my knowledge, been on the show again, though Tweety and Lawrence O'Donnell are frequent guests.

Yes, this might just cure my addiction...What a PUTZ!.."I'm not trying to be condescending" he sneers...My ass, he wasn't. That being said, it's wishful thinking anyway on his part, as Mediocre Joe doesn't have the intellectual heft to spar with Rachel, and I'm sure he actually knows that...Imagine his indignation: .Being beaten by a GIRL!
