My arm hurts. And it’s Trump’s fault.

After his petty outburst at the last debate I cobbled up these buttons and gave them to some friends. Then I went about doing other things. But those friends called and emailed asking for more of the buttons, so I dragged out the lever-action button machine and made more. Then our local Dems office wanted some, as did our coordinated campaigns office. Then our world champion class ultra canvass organizer wanted some, three times. I just got home from delivering several dozen to two campaign locations.

Admittedly, it is a bit of a kick to be at the grocery store and spot the button being worn by people I don’t know. Who’da thunk that what was essentially a snarky riposte to a snotty comment would become a lapel adornment for a few hundred people? Meanwhile, stuff I’ve spent days on might as well be invisible. Well, that’s the world for ya.

Given my whining over not being able to participate in door-knocking and phone banking, the Tylenol and ice pack are humbling reminders that there are other ways to help. But my arm still hurts. And it’s still Trump’s fault.

Thanks Hillary!

could you put a long extender bar on your stamper to reduce the stress to your arm? Or would such a thing work for you?

For example I have a metal pipe I put over my car's lug nut wrench when the lug nut is hard to remove. The extra four feet of torque the pipe gives me makes removing lug nuts pretty darned effortless!

Great job on your "Nasty Voter" pins!

that make the work much easier, but they're both very busy knocking on doors and phone banking. I do remember the pipe trick from back in the day; sadly, it would move me too far away from the assembly mechanism. Appreciate the suggestion, though!
