But do you really think there are going to be a lot of ticket-splitters who (this example in North Carolina) punch their ballot for Clinton while voting Richard Burr for the Senate, or who vote Clinton in Illinois but just can't quite cast their ballot for Tammy Duckworth and vote for Mark Kirk instead? More voters for Clinton means more voters for Democrats down the ballot.
