If one more older white male tells this late-fifties female that "it's going to be okay", I'm going to barf on their shoes. There are SO many groups of us who already know that it will NOT be okay.

I'm afraid, and relive the nightmare every morning when I wake up. I barely survived the Bush years. I'm not at a point where I'm interested in any "unity".

3. I feel like I am reliving the day

My brother was killed in a plane crash during Vietnam. If one more person tells me to get over this, I will seriously punch them. I am scared to death.

I was SO hopeful and optimistic and honestly, quite confident that America, my country, just couldn't be stupid enough to set itself back 50 years because a bunch of redneck idiots were trying to get a reality tv star elected. When the first returns started coming in, I knew in my gut what was about to happen. I'd seen it before in 2000.

I wanted Hillary and the Democratic party to fight. Contest the election. Do something. I still hold out hope (unrealistic as that may be, of course) that something is going to happen and she will be inaugurated instead of that jerk face.

I'm tired of people saying "well he's mellowing". So he said he was going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. Now, he's not. He was lying one time or the other. Which time was it? How can anyone trust a word that comes out his mouth?

For the next four years, the idiots that voted for him are responsible in my book. Sound angry? You damn right. Sound like a sore loser? Yep, guilty.

Second time the Dems have been defeated in my lifetime without a whimper. I know my negative attitude doesn't serve any purpose, but it's about all I've got left right now. I'll work on that...

for dinner tonight...one a Vietnam Vet. A bunch of good Democrats that give me hope we will get through this. And, yes, I am angry and will not get over it for 4 years.
