Incompetent Trump - a main Trump meme

My first impression of Trump, way back when, was once of incompetence. Clueless, vulgar, tone deaf, racist, stupid, liar, etc -- yes all those impressions were also made. But it was his incompetence that struck me the strongest. As I learned more and more about Trump, the incompetent impression just got stronger and stronger. It seemed that everything he touched failed and turned to crap.

Now I hear and see, who is running his transition, and it is very clear that actually governing and making the various agencies and relationships with Congress ain't his top priority. His kids have no more business getting security clearances than I do. He is putting in place ideologues, grifters, T-party hacks, and long time pals. But competent people with governing experience - eh not so much. His administration will make incompetent bad decision after bad decision, or no decision and action at all about situations that need attention and addressing. Think screw-ups of the magnitude of FEMA Director Michael Brown during hurricane Katrina. That's how incompetent I expect the Trump administration to be.

It's one thing for Progressives to complain about all the disasterous alt-right policies that are coming, but the alt-right don't care about our complaints. They laugh at us about civil rights, equal justice, women's rights, and a host of other progressive issues. But there is one quality that every American understands and is not political. That is competence versus incompetence. Everyone understands that it is incompetence if the roof still leaks a week after the roofers have left. Or the toilet still runs a day after the plumber left, or the lawn sprinkler heads get cut up by the gardener, or your vehicle still doesn't pass inspection after you install a new muffler.

We need to take every opportunity to point out the sheer incompetence of every screw up of the Trump administration. For example as reported by Rachel Maddow, after firing Christie from the transition team, there was no one to resign the papers necessary for the outgoing Obama crew to work with the incoming Trump crew. Four days were lost. No one from the Trump team has returned calls to the Dept of State, the Dept of Defense, the Dept of Homeland Secuity, etc. This is blatant incompetence.

So I'm asking all DUers to keep pointing out the sheer incompetence of the Trump team. Write about it in all your favorite social media. Over and over and over. Let's get Trump labelled as incompetent early and often. Let's get even the alt-right to turn against him over his incompetence.

I think they see him as a rubber stamp for all their stupid ideological "pure" laissez faire Ayn Rander policies. We need to take back some state legislatures.

They rubbed the lamp with the evil genie in it, wished for a white male president who would speak for them, and they got Trump, a narcissistic psychopath who is going to screw them over first.
