Watch "Tokyo Tribe" and Then Tell Me Gangster Buppa is Not Modelled on Trump

The first film most folks thought of in the wake of the latest selection is "Idiocracy"---with Trump as President Camacho, the world wrestling champ and former porn star who uses his fame to become the president.

However, President Camacho is basically a nice guy. Not too bright, not prepared for the job--but his heart is in the right place.

If you really want to see Trump on the screen in all his greedy, arrogant, wealthy as sin glory surrounded by his equally wealthy as sin, privileged family, you need to watch Sion Sono's film adaptation of the manga, "Tokyo Tribe" about a gang war that tears the city up before finally uniting it against a common foe. Here's a scene in which Buppa/Trump's daughter strokes his ego. Caution: full frontal (male) warning.

The whole film is available on Netflix. Watch it and then try to convince yourself that Trump is not Buppa, the Tokyo mob leader who wants to own the world---and then F word it.

Do not let the premise---world's first hip hop opera--scare you away. This movie is all about solidarity in the face of oppression.
