It is most commonly used for Netflix and Hulu, but there are lots of apps on it. Some apps are for paid services and others are free. I use it mostly to watch Netflix. I switched over to Roku when they changed the TV signal from analog to digital. Digital signal sucked for watching anything off the antenna.

Then they took a hard right turn.

We could use backers like Steier to start up a left-leaning cable network to serve as a counterbalance to Fox Noise.

It's on Dish - one of the high channels (9415). You can also watch it live on the interwebs, and see replays of various content from previous shows.

Not really but that is what the stupid idiots think so. In fact some of them think fox news is too liberal. There are only 6 corporations that own it all or 6 to rule them all.

Conservatives to be more balanced. CNN! Can do that! We need our own channel. If FOX can do it....why can't MSNBC?

You dont have to look much further than talk radio. Even in progressive Portland OR the great KPOJ is now a sports station. The main reason is the format just cant generate the advertising revenue to sustain the business. Why? I dont know. It was a great station.

But at the same time you have multiple Rush stations to choose from. Crazy.

It foresaw alot of this crap. Before there was cable, network news was considered to be the "non-profit" arm of the network. All of that changed with cable news.

Network, the movie, is about a network news that tries to increase ratings and become profitable. The results are pretty much like cable news. Very eerie.

to achieve high enough ratings. Probably that has something to do with the lack of a cable network.

That's what I was going to say.

Liberals I respect most, the kind who think critically, don't watch much television 'news.'

They certainly don't conflate it with useful information or history.
