This is a horrible thought.

Congressional repukes will wait for the right moment to impeach Trump. They won't do so out of love of country, but because they'll be able to control Pence much easier. He is one of them after all. Drumpf is not. But here's the really horrible thought: I think Pence will be far more dangerous when it comes to domestic policy than the Great Orange P***y Grabber. Just look at the mess he left in Indiana. It's quite possible Trump may not be as willing to go along with all the idiotic ideas of the Paul Ryan wing of the GOP. It's no secret Ryan can't wait to slash and burn medicare and social security. Pence would go along with this all the way. Drumpf maybe not so much.

as his chief strategist though he has enough hate in his own right for lgbtq community. Trump is a misogynist but Pence wants to do away with abortion. I see Pence working through the legal system and other norms to get what he wants. Trump will tear the norms all down. I don't know Pence well enough to say if he is a true believer or a charlottetan. Either one bothers me. It is just so upsetting. A Sophie's choice if it were up to us. But it is not up to us. It is up to the GOP and they would love Pence.

For now. I believe what we are hearing so far is a very toned down Donald until the hazard of the electoral college election is past. The electoral college is predominantly Republican electors who can TAKE HIM OUT.

Those duped and stupid voters couldn't do a thing about it, and the Dark Powers would have two years to clamp the partisan ring back in their noses. The right-wing propaganda industry would insist everything that'd happen the people didn't like was the fault of Democrats. That very reliably works on the duped and stupid because they have become totally dependent on palatable lies.

After Trump is elected and sworn in, we're going to see what Trump really imagines he'll be doing, a conscienceless, literally unprincipled authoritarian bigot with current stops pulled out. If he bothers the agenda of the GOP leadership too badly, they WILL TAKE HIM OUT. Would anyone bet substantial money that the excuse wouldn't be that he was a closet liberal or some such thing?

Trump will not EVER be a real president - he is not capable OR willing to handle presidential duties, so America will be essentially leaderless, run by a bunch of power-hungry freaks with Trump throwing non-stop tantrums when he realizes they are plotting behind his back. Yes, ALL of America is in for a rough ride, including the millions of people who supported that orange buffoon.

articles. I'm already saying no to idiots or scoundrels who pretend Democrats lost this election because we didn't address "the issues people care about." Complete bullshit.

The people we were trying to woo DID NOT VOTE ISSUES. AND THEY REFUSED TO HAVE THEIR ISSUES ADDRESSED BY DEMOCRATS.

They literally voted against all their own avowed values, and even abandoned the teachings of their religions, to vote their party, their party leader, and above all against the enemy of their leader.

Trump is clearly not capable OR willing to do the work required of a real president - this means someone else HAS to do it - yes, Dubya was a puppet president, but that was an ARRANGEMENT - here, they are going to have to DEAL with Donald and I honestly cannot think of a much worse punishment for them - the problem is, ALL OF AMERICA and the world will be caught in the crossfire

At the very least, they expect Pence to be the Cheney. And they are hoping for President Pence.

As for which is worse, that's sort of like saying "Which is worse? Being trapped in a room with a raging bull (Trump) or being trapped in a room with cyanide gas (Pence)." The cyanide is definitely gonna kill. The bull is only just probably gonna kill you. Otherwise known as chaotic evil versus control evil. I guess the chaotic evil is better. It might make a mistake and do some good.

he's a sick, evil fuck, but definitely has limited popular appeal I live in Indiana). I think a lot of Repubs voted for the ticket thinking Pence was the sane one, and of course they were sadly fooled. I know during the campaign, there were doubts about Trump, like after the first debate, and Pence's cool (horribly dishonest) performance in the VP debate really eased a lot of conservative minds.

Will end up costing more than improving the existing system.
