The ultimate instruction and tip sheet for calling reps - scripts, frequency

The "We're his problem now call sheet" being posted to Hillary FB pages:

Using this spreadsheet: Hey guys! Didn't expect so much interest in this sheet. Just wanted to clarify that I'll basically be updating this doc in real-time. I'll update the space in yellow below w/a weekly call to action. Some weeks, it'll be the same one as the prev. week's, I imagine. My goal is for this to be a space where I respond to the convo that's happening among progressives w/ a user-friendly tool for calling your reps. Woefully behind on emails, but please don't wait on me for calls. My suggestion is to --> Make yourself a reminder to call about the WEEKLY CALL TO ACTION (in yellow below) each Monday morning and follow up on Wed. and then a set of reminders for Thurs/Fri choose issues/scripts below. Having trouble keeping up w/ demand & working on a more tech-savy, seamless, and user-friendly way to get you all what you need.

Scripts for calling your mayor and police departments also coming.
1. All election cycle, Donald Trump has been our problem. Now, we're HIS PROBLEM, and since Congress serves us, SO ARE THEY. Let's use the best tool at our disposal (our elected representation) to show Donald once and for all that, in our America, LOVE TRUMPS HATE.

2. Begin with the WEEKLY-CALL-TO ACTION. This is the #1 priority for calls.

3. Toward the end of the week, when you have made and followed up on the WEEKLY-CALL-TO-ACTION, make calls re: specific progressive issues that are important to you. Call about even-numbered issues on Thursdays and odd-numbered issues on Fridays. Try to avoid calling about an issue that is directly-related to the WEEKLY-CALL-TO-ACTION, since officials will likely receive lots of calls about this particular topic. If that issue is super important to you, just make extra follow-up calls using the WEEKLY-CALL-TO-ACTION script.

The list:

http://cicilline.house.gov/press-release/cicilline-leads-169-reps-asking-president-elect-trump-reverse-bannon-appointment

The Script:

For those who have not yet denounced Stephen Bannon:
"I am calling to ask that Rep/Sen _______ refuse to work with the Trump transition team until Stephen Bannon is removed from his staff. Bannon is a white supremacist and an anti-Semite." If true, you could also add: "Rep/Sen _______ has criticized the racist language of the Trump campaign, and s/he needs to step up and protect American values now."

For those who have: I'm my name is ---- ---- and I'm a constituent calling to thank Rep/Sen _____ for condemning Stephen Bannon's racism. I ask that the <Senator/Representative> continue to pressure the Trump transition team and refuse to work with them if they appoint racists. Rep/Sen ____ needs to continue to protect American values.
