What exactly does the minority leader in the House do other than to hold the caucus together?

I'm listening to Tim , Rep. from Ohio, who is challenging Nancy for the leadership spot, and he seems to be saying if HE were the leader he would make the Dem Party the guaranteed home for all people.

It's not up to us, so his appeal to the masses is pointless. The reps vote for their own leadership. I hope they pick the badass experienced one who knows how to rock a pantsuit.

needed. Even the news reporters always "Nancy will get it done!" Maybe Tim just is too new, but I haven't heard HIM fight for anything.

working together and to know and be able to implement skillful parliamentary procedures. This is not an ideologue position, but one of true work; hard work that goes on every day. He sounds full of crap.
