Donald Trump's racist and reactionary picks are making our jobs easier and legitimizing the opposition. I am thinking of the People Power Revolution in the Philippines where the middle class took to the streets to protest Ferdinand Marcos' regime violence and election fraud.


He lost the popular vote, by a lot. He ran a divisive and demagogic campaign. He is filling his Cabinet and staff with racists, anti-semites, nativists, and zenophobes. He is begging for protests.

My fervent hope is that the protests remain peaceful and diverse and the barista at Starbucks and the young attorney at a white shoes law firm take to the streets to take our country back.

We can take a page out of History and be like the king of Denmark and the people of Denmark...every decent person should register as a Muslim.

With his reactionary picks he is doing the opposite. My fingers are crossed that Mitt Romney doesn't take a position with the administration. He would bring dishonor to himself.
