1-Medicare 2-Social Security 3-Aspects of FADA. We have to MOVE NOW!
RIGHT NOW we need to get out in front of these issues and talk about the destruction and changes coming. It needs to be a a complete assault on all fronts.
PFAW, MoveOn, etc need to switch to blasting out the changes that will affect everybody. At every turn, Dems on every level need to talk about the ISSUES that the current appointments will bring about that will affect them.
I would love to continue to call Jeff Sessions a beady-eyed, big-eared KKK stalking horse who has the brains of a pod of okra bless his heart. That just turns this into name calling and deflects from what's coming.
The GOP plans a blitz of legislation that they have NO mandate for. As infuriating as it is, don't argue about the vote. Argue about the issues that will affect those you confront.
We have ONE month to try to build a head of steam against this blitz. If these issues can be exposed and the real affects that the GOP will have on everybody, this will be a chance to really nail Senators and especially congressmen. The House members and some Senators have to answer in two years to the voters. Pick out districts now and find candidates to start hitting those in office. We have to try. This is the level to pound on.
It should begin to peal away those who aren't staunch Trumpers. At the very least, it can begin to make cracks in their plans.
Get out of your stupor if you are in one. Get out of your house. Talk to those who you know personally and point out the changes that they will feel and those that are going to hurt you. I will have to grit my teeth and do this.
The protests going on now need to lead with Trump will change Medicare, etc. if we just call him names like Butternut Turd, his supporters will answer in knee-jerk fashion.
We are better than this. We are smarter than this. We have ONE month to show this and frame the issues in our favor.
