Since the election, I've poured many dozens of working hours (and a few dozen bucks) into a Stop Trump project that I've posted at the URL orangeflu.com . I hope I can persuade you to go read what I've posted there. (It's fairly extensive and would not scan too comfortably in the standard DU format. The formatting I've used for my site, however, is -- even if I do say so myself -- very easy on the eyes and reader-friendly.)
The "elevator" version is this:
1. Because Trump's -- at best -- a pseudo-fascist, if we wait until until he's actually inaugurated to try to mount a resistance, it may be too late. Once right-wing authoritarian populists assume power they tend to (a) refuse to give it up peacefully -- ever; and (2) use state powers systematically to eliminate all viable opposition.
2. By using mass, focused nonviolent noncooperation, it's still possible to derail the wholly illegitimate Trump regime BEFORE he's inaugurated.
In these regards, I have a favor to ask: If you're going to post comments, below, please read what I've posted at orangeflu.com and address that. Because our time is so very, very short, I'm really hoping we can keep things as focused as possible.

(34 posts)I've been promoting the site and the ideas on Facebook as well, and I've established an Orange Flu Facebook page that I'm using to disseminate links to major, mainstream articles relating to the Trump "transition" situation and to significant efforts to thwart his madness.
Formatting's a problem with Facebook, too, though. It's simply not designed for comfortably reading longer, more substantive posts. So while Facebook may yet prove a useful tool for getting the message out, the message itself is most easily seen, I think, at the website ( orangeflu.com ) that I specifically formatted for that purpose -- as well as for the purpose of encouraging people to think seriously about the power and potential power nonviolent noncooperation.

(34 posts)I think the ideas I'm presenting are actually pretty simple.
The results -- or lack thereof -- will be, too:
If we can get the basic ideas into sufficiently wide circulation so that they can start to gain a little traction, things could reach critical mass surprisingly quickly -- at which point we really could stop Trump through nonviolent noncooperation.
Otherwise, Zoroaster help us all.
