Well, thank God that the most problematic figure in US foreign policy history didn't happen to die..

... during the most problematic transfer of power in US government history, when everybody needs to be on the same page. I mean, that would suck, and could screw up US interests throughout the hemisphere for years to come, particularly if the incoming government in the other country really really needs to know where they stand but can't get straight answers.

So glad that's not the world I live in.
