Extra-special Make America Great Again Educated Guess Thread. How long will he last in office?

I don't see four years happening.

Ryan and McConnell are chomping at the bit, and it's because of a Republican majority in the House and Senate, they joys of using "reconciliation" to push their agendas through, and...even though some Republicans are against it...doing away with the filibuster if Democrats actually utilize it.

There is no way in hell that they see Trump as an "idea man." They see him as a rubber stamp when needed. It's basically Mitch and Paulie Walnuts running the Sopranos' waste disposal business.

I don't think Trump is going to make it through four years...I do believe we will see "President Pence."

That said, no matter how they spin it, if the Republicans unseat the orange shitgibbon, they are going to end up with egg on their collective faces. So they can't do it on day one, but they will do it as soon as the pain in their collective ass is greater than the potential pain of removing Little Lord Golden Commode.

When do we think this is most likely to happen?

He'll never resign and they'll "manage" his problems. He's only in it for the glory and profit, and they can make that work for him.

Don't they control the judge appointments now? Won't they fill the backlog with conservative judges?

Reagan should have been impeached over Iran Contra. It took pushing uphill on an unpopular president to force Nixon from office. Unless magically formerly uncontested Senate seats appear in two years, you won't have the votes to impeach him.

The only thing that might take Trump out, short of a complete mental breakdown which is a possibility, is something so egregious that it kills or threatens the health and safety of a lot of white people in the country.

The constitution is not an actor. There is no "they have to" in politics.

anyway as President. He has to be removed from office by Congress (impeachment) or by this process (25th Amendment):

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

"My dear Americans. Due to some sudden illness, that will last for however long I want it to last, I'm not capable of handling the daily workload of the President's position. As I don't know how long it will take until I'm great again, I hereby resign... But don't worry. I'll return as soon as I feel healthy again. Not to work from within the system as President, but to spew my bile from the sidelines."
