You want Cuba to guarantee rights to build Trump International Havana within 2 years.
It will be bigly huge and bankrupt in four years.

If Cuba is unwilling to make a better deal for the Cuban people, the Cuban/American people and the U.S. as a whole, I will terminate deal

On edit: I get that Cuba can't remain a time machine. As their circumstances change, it won't be like stepping back into a world of 1950s cars and decaying houses. And I think Cubans should decide for themselves what they want - but I don't think American-style - especially Trump-style - development, especially unhindered, is the answer.

(12,649 posts)He grew up part of the glitterati, (well, managed to collect enough years make it to the age of 21 without killing himself in an overdose or by wrapping his car around a lamp-post) a hard-drinking, coke-snorting disco era baby. So it's got to be sparkly to begin with, and gilded to show how "rich" his brand is. And modern, because history doesn't exist for him.
And it's got to be built cheap, so he still pretend he's a billionaire on his investor's money - and keep up the slush fund for the retainer the lawyers that keep him out of trouble when he stiffs his contractors and workers.
Aesthetics? That's for losers and starving artists. What does he care about the actual product - it's all about him and his glitter life.

(16,167 posts)the contractors and they in turn will take a slice of the pie until every brick is 10% quality.
He'll then sue the government because they allowed him to a building permit and didn't inspect enough.
Then it will fall down in a hurricane and hundreds will be killed.
It will be a blurb on a screen crawl.
