The genius move is to come out as strong as DiBlassio without turning into McConnell

We need to come out fighting hard against Trump and all he stands for. But we need to direct that energy at the enemy. It's a little early to start saying fellow Dems are going along to get along. Getting along is not the goal. Doing what's best for the country is the goal. Let's not put on McConnell style blinders!
