The same people who are saying the recount will amount to nothing

are the same people who said Trump could not win the nomination much less be elected President. Look at that signpost up ahead. We have entered the Twilight Zone. Matter of fact, I don't think the recount will amount to anything and I didn't think Trump would win. But in this political climate who knows.

1. I thought there was a decent chance he'd win.

As to the recount, I'm on the fence; anything is possible.

I think everyone should bother him about losing the popular vote for the next four years. He HATES that.

6. If I had to bet everything I had on Trump or Clinton 3 months ago -- I would have bet on Clinton.

But, my posts often said something to the effect -- I feel confident Clinton will win, but can't underestimate the number of ignorant white wing racists in this country. The Comey email BS really changed things by taking the emphasis off how disgusting Trump is.

I too believe the recount will not help us, at best shifting an insignificant number of votes in one direction or the other. The recount protests/petitions also make us look much like whining GOPers/Birthers.

We are definitely in the Twilight Zone, although it's more frightening than was typical of the old TV series.

11. Well, let's start with MI, the closest state.

First, MI uses paper ballots throughout the state, supposedly the most accurate -- hint: that's correct.

Second, no recount has ever turned around an over 10K vote deficit, not ever in history, especially with eminently recount-able paper ballots.

Third, I support these recount efforts, if only because they cause troubles solely for Drumpf's legitimacy.

However, they will in no way change the outcome.

Hunker down folks. It's going to get more than a bit tough. The recounts will make a little splash, but won't change the horror of our new reality.

My best to you all.

people want paper ballots. They are verifiable.
