Barack America @barack_america
@realDonaldTrump Pathetic. Attempt a little decorum and respect for the office of POTUS. You should be ashamed carrying on like this.

An idiot equal to Trump in intelligence, but miles ahead of Trump in self-control.

(2,072 posts)there's an occasional guiding hand that keeps him from going too far off onto the shoulder. He'll make crazy turns off onto old service roads, but the car/driver are generally acknowledging the existence of roads. Trump there is no driver and a bunch of people in the back seat are fighting each other for control and nobody cares about the road. They continue to fight because the car is still going and by sheer luck hasn't hit a wall or fallen off a cliff.

(19,264 posts)I think he almost has a compulsion to be seen as the winner and it is literally keeping him up at night that Clinton has more votes.

The disparity in the EC and popular vote count has to be burning away at him like being staked to a fire ant hill.

(28,876 posts)1. Overturn of the election results during recounts
2. Abandonment of Trump by the electoral college.
Amazingly, Donald is helping our chances with both via these Twitter rages.
If we can keep him going with some simple Tweets, then let's!

(10,726 posts)don't know how viable it really is, since we'd end up with Pence, which would get us out of the frying pan into the fire, but it's worth a listen

(65,013 posts)But, i've seen that bit and i don't agree with the "frying pan/Fire" bit.
Pence gets installed in such an event, he'd be utterly toothless. Talk about not having a mandate. Literally nobody voted for the guy to be president and now he's president. What moral authority would he have? I think that scenario is better than you suggest.

(3,528 posts)They were talking about the latest twitter rampage and Begala made the observation that every time an issue comes up that the media SHOULD be talking about, tRump goes on twitter and changes the subject by causing a twitter firestorm.
A week ago tRump settled a fraud case for 25 million, and the next day everyone is talking about the Hamilton musical uproar. Just a day or two ago serious people were raising serious questions about his business conflicts of interest, serious questions that need to be raised before his inauguration. Suddenly, everyone is talking about lunatic conspiracy theories.
Begala called Trump a master manipulator of the media. Maybe he's right. All the craziness is just a distraction from talking about real issues. Kind of describes the last 16 months?

(90,674 posts)....Chris Hayes, but CH kept interrupting him. Steele said Trump absolutely "knows his audience," by which he meant the media, and that he could make them keep "jumping down rabbit holes."
Now Paul Begala is saying it.
Trump is using his Twitter wars as cover for whatever important bad thing he is doing at the time. And the media and everybody else whips their heads around and goes, "Squirrel!"

Incapable of concentrating for any length of time. Pig ignorant on any subject.
Uses threats and bluster to get his way so needs to be quelled by his minders. Often only Ivanka can get him to stop it seems.
How long will this farce continue?
Pence is also a nightmarish prospect.
