(146,329 posts)That a man who is still on probation for giving classified information to someone not authorized is up for any high government office is literally incredible to me. Secretary of State? Director of National Intelligence? On what planet does Donald Trump live? He is making an absolute mockery of the Cabinet.

(146,329 posts)pushing his thumb into the eye of this country repeatedly and deliberately with his Cabinet picks. Each and every one seems completely inappropriate to me. And not just mildly, but blatantly inappropriate.
The Petraeus option is so clearly the wrong move that it must be designed to mock the very nature of the positions for which he is being considered. I'm gobsmacked by all of this. It is surrealistic.

I thought that Ben Carson for HUD was going to be the most egregious example, but I think Petraeus tops that.
Edit: the Tom Price pick is probably equally egregious, if not more so.

(24,437 posts)Given that Trump and Republicans and the Media spent obscene amounts of time trashing Hillary over her private e-mail server (which never actually compromised any classified information) and now they want to nominate somebody who INTENTIONALLY compromised classified information? What in the ever living f**k?
