As SE Forests Burn - There Still Is No Such Thing As Global Warming.

Do not remember the forests of the east US burning like they are now. I am 73 and forests were usually wet enough in the fall to never be vulnerable. These fires signal a new reality.

I have lived in the NE Georgia mountains over 40 years. There are three good sized fires within a 30 mile radius from me, the closest less than 10 miles away. I only remember one other fire that made the news and it only lasted about 24 hours before it was contained and extinguished. Yes, our falls are usually rainy. We are having rain now for the first time in over 2 months.
