http://bipartisanreport.com/2016/11/13/breaking-fbi-stuns-america-issues-federal-warrant-to-investigate-trumps-russia-ties-details/Snip:
The FBI has issued a FISA warrant to investigate Donald Trumps private Russian email server, for national security purposes. According to Louise Mensch of Heat Street:
Two separate sources with links to the counter-intelligence community have confirmed to Heat Street that the FBI sought, and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of U.S. persons in Donald Trumps campaign with ties to Russia.
The account is being investigated for possible banking offenses and ties to the Russian government, and, as the report claims, the FBI has rejected claims of an investigation in order to protect the President-Elect during the campaigning process. Last week, the director of the FBI, James Comey, released a vague memo about the investigation into the Clinton Foundation, causing many to come forward and say that Comey had broken the Hatch Law, which prohibits government officials from interfering with the democratic process.

But vague. This way, if there is any trouble, they can say they were investigating.

Heat Street is a conservative opinion and commentary website. Launched in February 2016, the website is headed by U.S. based British writer and former politician Louise Mensch.[3][4] It is owned by News Corp under Dow Jones & Company.
The website was announced in February 2016. It launched officially on April 20, 2016.[3] The website was to be headed by British journalist Louise Mensch and network producer Noah Kotch, who helped launch Vocativ.[5] The editors are quoted as saying, "We plan to break news, move the media and mock the mainstream. It takes friction to generate heat. We will rub against the grain of convention. That's our mission."[6]
The website features sections on politics, technology, culture, business, entertainment, and life.[7]
The website has been described as centre-right and libertarian. A spokesperson said that the site will, "in a spirit of free speech and no safe spaces, cover a variety of topics from a diversity of viewpoints."[8]
The Washington Times's Jennifer Harper described the site as, "The politics here are right-leaning and libertarian-minded; the publication also covers culture wars, commentary, technology, celebrity, business and assorted lifestyle matters."[6]

(3,290 posts)4. Personally, I no longer trust the FBI to do any investigations
in an unbiased manner. Especially those involving political figures. It's a shame to have to feel that way given that i used to hold them in rather high regard but Comey has destroyed that and perhaps our nation as well.

To get rid of trump as congress repubs would fear the base if it looked like they were doing it.
