What if Trump used the same workers and the same illegal methods to "win" the election that he used to sell students Trump University?
In that case, he would have every incentive to settle the lawsuit. Because if the workers were forced to testify under oath, plaintiff's attorneys might have questioned them about other illegal things they have done for Trump. And then, they might haver opened a big can of worms about their activities during the election.

It's funny because he kept talking about a rigged election but maybe it was rigged differently than what he was saying.

He settled the suit because it was going to lose. Not the kind of TV he was looking for right now.
