"Our side" is usually slow to slap nicknames on things. The media has been (falsely) portrayed as the "liberal media" for many many years now -- probably since Watergate -- where it is, by and large, no such thing. Unfortunately, in my opinion Democrats and progressives are a little too wise to lump all media together and call it by a bad name. But it's time to change that, our lives depend on it. Can we find a clever moniker that will stick?
