As Donald Trump continues to avoid the press in favor of staged "victory rallies" before his die-hard fans, one group of people aren't cheering: Silicon Valley.
Trump's triumphal procession Thursday in the industrial heartland further unnerved America's technology leaders, who fear unfavorable treatment under a Trump administration. The bicoastal hipsters as a whole didn't support Trump and sparred with him during the campaign. Now they fear payback from the famously vindictive president-elect.

Trump has feuded with Amazon and its CEO Jeff Bezos for having a "huge antitrust problem" and "getting away with murder tax-wise," despite Trump's own conflict of interests and tax avoidance.
Amazon investors are now worried that Trump will use the vast power of the presidency to pursue a vendetta against Amazon, just as the Breitbart website once operated by his chief strategist Steve Bannon is now attacking Kellogg Co. for pulling its ads from the site. Kellogg said Breitbart's far-right views as incompatible with its corporate culture; the site is now rallying its loyal readers to boycott the cereal maker.
Trump also in the past has threatened to boycott Apple because of its encryption policy, which favors consumers over law enforcement, and for using China as a manufacturing base (even though Trump's construction companies have bought Chinese steel for his buildings).
