http://www.mediaite.com/online/i-just-wish-i-had-not-voted-trump-voter-had-house-foreclosed-on-by-trumps-treasury-secretary/Mnuchin used to be an owner of OneWest, a bank formed in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2007-08 that acquired the assets of subprime mortgage lender IndyMac. Shortly after acquiring the loans from IndyMac, OneWest began foreclosing on thousands of them.
Colebrook used to own a triplex in Califronia where she rented out two units. Her lender was purchased by OneWest in 2009. By that time, she had an interest-only loan and was dealing with revenue issues on her property as tenants were caught up in the economic downturn....
In regards to her feeling about her vote for Trump, Colebrook didnt mince words.
I just wish that I had not voted, said Colebrook, 59. I have no faith in our government anymore at all. They all promise you the world at the end of a stick and take it away once they get in.
So pussy-grabbing didn't keep her from voting Orange, but foreclosure did?!
And isn't Mnuchin Jewish? And he can somehow stand working alongside Bannon?!

(84,823 posts)It's not like she and others like her (and now or soon to be in the same sort of predicament) weren't warned.
It's not like we didn't try to warn her.
It's not like we didn't try to tell her the truth, and offer her a sensible, viable, realistic, honest, and trustworthy alternative.
What I find myself mumbling a lot, lately, is "hey, nobody held a gun to your head and forced you to vote for him. YOU did this. YOU did this willingly, even enthusiastically. You were totally played. You were warned. YOU BUILT THIS. Now you have to live in it."
I'm not one bit sad for her. The only thing I'm sad about is that the rest of us are forced to live in it, too.

(20,577 posts)that Mnuchin's bank screwed her but that was more than a year ago. She probably had no idea who Mnuchin was back then. But I don't feel sorry for what happens to her now as a result of her and a lot of other suckers voting for Trump.
