Retired Army Gen. Barry McCaffrey has changed his opinion on the incoming national security adviser, retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn, after reading his tweets.
...I must admit, McCaffrey said, Im now extremely uneasy about some of these tweets, which dont sound so much as if they are political skullduggery, but instead border on being demented. So I think we need to look into this and sort our whats going on here.
I think that we need to aggressively examine what was going on with Gen. Flynn and his son, dealing with these transparent, nearly demented tweets that were going out, he continued. I think it needs closer scrutiny.

(2,652 posts)"Demented" in the dictionary should have drumpf's pic next to it.
I have Flynn's book reserved at the library and plan to read it this weekend. Some of the passages from it seem nonsensical at best that I read in the media.
Flynn may be the most dangerous man in the world right now.

If the MSM had spent any time talking about them, it would have been really useful.

(289 posts)... to see how far even Republicans will go.
When we get to actual business, I can actually see him quitting the GOP in a fit when they don't give him his way in trade, abandoning NATO or other destabilizing nonsense. If they can keep him reigned in, it's bad for us. If they can't, then it's bad for them.
All we can do is hope that he doesn't try to rejoin the Democratic Party for what now? The third time?
