I was watching a documentary just now --about people with the name of Hitler--and one person quoted Voltaire:

“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous. And God granted it."

There is something here, I think, for us. Trump is a totally ridiculous figure from his appearance, to his ego, to his tweeting...and on and on.
Perhaps that is the key to neutralizing this narcissistic, pathological liar.

Make fun of him constantly. All the time. Everything he does should be mocked.
