Quote from Voltaire: "Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous."

I was watching a documentary just now --about people with the name of Hitler--and one person quoted Voltaire:

“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous. And God granted it."

(Letter to Étienne Noël Damilaville, May 16, 1767)”

There is something here, I think, for us. Trump is a totally ridiculous figure from his appearance, to his ego, to his tweeting...and on and on.
Perhaps that is the key to neutralizing this narcissistic, pathological liar.

Make fun of him constantly. All the time. Everything he does should be mocked.

I'm in. What about you?

And Trump is definitely low-hanging fruit. If there's anything positive to be said about him, it's that he is supplying endless material to political cartoonists, satirists and late-show comedians.

If it hadn't, it wouldn't have been falling for sleazy con-artist preachers for decades. While we may see Trump as ridiculous, that hasn't stopped him. It also seems the media don't see him as ridiculous either, and that may be a long-term problem.

Don't let them try to make him serious or grand. I recall seeing attempts with Dubya which failed. There is no way to make the Dumpster anything but ridiculous.

If you write letters to editors of newspapers, use that forum to make fun of him.

If you're on facebook, share as many laughable and ridiculous graphics/stories as possible.

The more we can make fun of him publicly, the better.
