Maybe we all should be reading up on evolutionary psychology. I mean Trump

is pulling down all sorts of human constructed and believed system and norms, called fictions, so he will naturally be the one rebuilding. But we can think and study and come up with a better world than he. I mean multiculturalism and robots and climate change and neoliberalism destabilized the world so people fell for Trump, who promised to upend the whole cart. But we can look and see that outside of small groups of humans, masses of people require a fiction to get along and cooperate. (Homo Deus by Harari). The alt-right is certainly building a fiction of exclusion and cooperation within only one sex in one cultural group to the exclusion of everyone else. They build conspiracies and scapegoat to give their fiction context and set it in stone. Surely we can come up with more compelling take of the world by looking first to the past in order to plan into the future. Apparently our ability to cooperate made humans dominant in the world. That's how adults roll: with agreements (Colbert). We can look for explanations in science and the arts. No reason why each of us cannot give it some thought and effort.
