I have an idea why Cheeto Benito has surrounded himself with so many generals.

To forestall the possibility of a military coup. I can hardly believe it's come to this, but there you go.

how undemocratic, militaristic, top-down authoritarianism works so they won't need any "training"?

It's just a damn good thing tRump knows more than the generals!
