Rep Adam Schiff on Andrea Mitchell

Speaking the truth... Conway was just on bloviating about the left being sore losers and politicizing the Russian hacking... Mitchell pushed back a bit, saying that numerous agencies have confirmed this and why is Trump dissing them... Conway of course pivoting to say he's not dissing the CIA (oh yeah???) but saying the sources are unnamed and blaming WAPO, NY times and saying of course he respects the CIA...

Schiff comes on and takes apart every talking point from Conway, saying her points are non points because she's not really talking about the real issue. Schiff basically saying Trump doesn't understand how Intel works and is in over his head. Says this needs to be investigated fully.

goes forward, the more it exposes the real players and motives. This is a Constitutional Crisis. Each time one of the so called spokes persons for Trump opens their collective mouths, more and more of the real story emerges. We just witnessed a Coup by Corporate America and the Mutli-National Corporations. Again it is our Oil like the Con Job said.

not sure if it is technically a "constitutional" crisis, but for the first time in our history our elections were actively manipulated by another country, and either way we elected a complete buffoon/meglomaniac.

However, the problem is that we are democracy, and the "we elected" him part is game, set, match.

And, further, the country really doesn't seem to care much about it.

Yeah, Congress might have acted.

In the year 2016/17, with complete Republican control, there is zero chance the do anything about it.

That's the part that just knocks the wind out of me.

He expects to be able to run this country like the CEO of a privately held company.

Checks and balances? Transparency? Realizing the potential global effect of every tweet?

Completely lost on him.

though of course nukes could be used that way. A report prepared for Congress a few years ago said that if the power grid for the entire nation were brought down, not just a city or region, mortality would be an estimated 90% after a year.

How many days' food and water does the typical household have stocked? If an attack came this afternoon, how long until supermarkets in our towns were basically emptied out? Two days? Three?

President Obama developed national emergency plans, including giving local governments the right to confiscate and control anything needed to keep their populations alive. How strong and well functioning are each of our own state and county governments after years of "trimming the waste," and in way too many electing clueless fools? Can they maintain order? Did they maintain the backup water pumps?

I personally would feel a lot more comfortable in a blue state instead of this deep red one.
