The Electoral College and the GOP will screw us

The Electoral College can pick someone/anyone but Trump when they meet on December 19th. The GOP can refuse to approve his cabinet picks, and even impeach him once it's apparent to everyone that he's ...? That he's what? Unfit? Incompetent? Insane? Beats me. But understand this. The Electoral College will vote for him, and the GOP will kiss his ass on large screen HD TV for the foreseeable future.

These are the only two legal bodied that can stop him. Will they? Don't hold your breath. These bodies are made up of people who think only of themselves, their careers and their futures. And screw everyone else.

So the two establishment entities that can save us from a dictatorship are passing on their opportunity to put an end to it. In effect, they really don't give a rat's ass about any of us.

Good Americans all. I hope that there will be a future in which sane people can look back upon them with disdain and disgust. And will never forget how easily "The Greatest Country In The World," can become just one more two bit dictatorship. The difference between America, and any other dictatorship in history, is that our nuclear arsenal can end human history.

And if you don't think that' possible, you haven't been paying attention.

than trump?

That is not going to happen.

If enough electors change their vote so no candidate get 270 votes, then the election goes to the house, where from the top three candidates in the election, one will be chosen for President.

The Senate will decide who will be the VP.

The best we can hope for is that trump is impeached after assuming office, which might delay some of the damage

but Pence would take his place, and we would be back to where we were

Their duty is to represent votes, not what they perceive as the best interests of the voters.
