Republicans rush to minimize Russian hackers

Hackers? Everybody does it. There's nothing new. We have known this for years. There is no evidence. Blah.blah.blah...

But, they are wrong. This has never happened before. It is unprecedented. The Russians, with the assistance of Republicans and the American media, used hacked emails to attack Hillary Clinton and to assist Donald Trump. It is a scandal of the highest priority.

There is no excuse not to investigate this immediately and get to the bottom of it. Trump and the Republicans are betraying everything our nation is supposed to stand for. They have a chance to fix this but if they do not, history will not be kind.
