If it were true, would it be a military coup or a corporate coup?

Although it seems that the corporate coup, led by Donald Trump, is in position to control all of the military. So, I guess if that were the case, it would be called fascist, because that is when corporations control the government.

What would you call it?

From Wiki: Corporatocracy is a recent term used to refer to an economic and political system controlled by corporations or corporate interests. It is most often used today as a term to describe the current economic situation in a particular country, especially the United States

This has been in the works since Reagan ... little steps over the past 30 years that got us exactly to where we are today. I think to identify it as a coup suggests a singular action, or, many actions in a relatively short period of time.

That makes sense.

But it seems to me that they have put several Generals into very strategic positions. One receives all the intelligence as the NSA adviser. Another General is head of the Defense Department and is the superior to all the Generals in the Armed Forces. Still another General has been put in charge of Homeland Security. Very strategic.

They are the only ones that have the power to do anything. If they fail, we are up shit creek.

Graham and others in their party are trying to avoid an independent inquiry. We're just getting a taste of the GOP's complicity, what else did they know and were they involved? They'll steer any bipartisan commission away from anything that implicates them.
