We are still doing one of the major factors that lost the election. Assuming that a positive action is simply "going to happen" while ignoring any and all evidence that the contrary may actually be true.

Moreover, even if by some stretch of the imagination, enough electors bail on trump to deny him 270, it is beyond any reasonable expectation that he still won't end up with more EV than anyone else. And in that case, the House would vote to make him president rather than select someone who didn't run and/or had fewer EVs that Trump.
