I blame george bush for the rise of trump

During the 8 years of bush the republican party was destroyed. He destroyed one of our greatest strengths, our values. He destroyed the american peoples trust and faith in almost every american institution. That destruction did not end when he left office. We are still paying for it big time.

The supreme courts decision to decide the 2000 election was a disaster. It ruined the peoples faith in the supreme court and the election process. A 5 to 4 decision made it much worse. Little did i know what would follow.

911. One of most tragic events in our history. Many americans were traumatized. Many turned their anger towards extremism. Conspiracy theories took off. The bush white house went extreme.

Iraq war. The bush white house used the news media as a propaganda tool to get the people to support the war. They lied. The war created thousands of terrorists. It divided the american people. Republican voters became more extreme, more angry if you spoke out against the war. When no wmds were found the american people lost faith in the government, the cia, the news media. The people became more divided.

Torture. I still cannot believe the bush white house thought they could set up secret torture sites around the world and not get caught. One of our greatest values and strengths was ruined when they made that decision. More terrorists were created. Many americans cheered torture. More americans turned towards extremism.

Economic collapse. 2008. Millions of americans lost their jobs. Millions lost their homes. The people turned against the government even farther. They turned against the banks , wall street , insurance companies. People on the right became more extreme.

Out of the rubble the tea party was born. A right wing anti government , anti immigration , anti obama , racist movement . They decided to destroy obama from day one at all cost. They hurt this country badly. They hurt obama badly. They were very self destructive. The people became more divided.

During this entire period a rich con man was watching. A opportunist. He watched , he learned , he waited. He learned what the people were angry about. He knew you could use that anger against them. You could get them to blindly follow. You could use the news media to spread your propaganda. Follow they did.

I can't think of a single day he appeared truly dignified or sincere. When he tried, it looked obviously forced and faked. He was just a figurehead, a silly mug for the TeeVee, a face for the real power controlling the country. Frighteningly, we're going to see how much worse it can get starting next month.

What came across this past year was this, the Republican Party and their spokes people stayed on a message of there will be consequences if you mess with us. And the Democratic spokes people and their messages were Oat Meal Mush. Oh well, get along go along,it's not that bad, reach across to the other side . Once you start down that road, you know darn well the the Public starts to doubt just what the heck is you message. Bottom line,we are know going to pay the price of freedom.

Anthony Weiner.

If he hadn't been self-destructive and reckless, he would have been the one to bitch slap DT and any other republican.

Before you flame me, I understand the amount and quality of damage he did to the Election and to our democracy. I so get it.

But look at this video to remember what was and what could have been:

Can you imagine him against Kellyanne Conway? Roger Stone? Corey Lewandowski?

Trickle down economics. Deregulation. Destruction of government institutions. Do not be surprised if gas prices go up like under bush. I have no idea what is going to happen under trump when it comes to foreign policy. It's too scary to think about. I don't think trump knows what he is going to do. This is so reckless.

Yes, I've heard Trump had an assistant constantly surfing the right-wing on the net and report back, to see and gauge what their sentiments and concerns were. What issues galvanized them. So it doesn't and shouldn't have come as a surprise he not only did well in the primaries, but steamrolled the competition.
