How many rightwingers do you know who don't read?

Or if they do read it's very short RW opinion pieces.

This is a common occurrence with the one's I'm acquainted with. They'd rather watch it on the TV or hear it on the radio. They are slaves to the infotainment world.

Probably close to a third are functionally illiterate

I've been to training sessions involving a cross section of employees from the production side of the business, and the trainer made the mistake of going around the room and having people read paragraphs in turn. It was pretty embarrassing for a lot of employees.

one of my neighbors is notorious for posting this.

I pointed it out over and over and her response "well it COULD be true"....as if that justified whatever ridiculous thing she posted.

so they read (or at least buy) "Christian" literature, the wackier the better. I always noticed my more conservative coworkers read romance fiction, but so did my lefty mother so go figure. Most of their political disinformation comes through their ears and their reading in politics is done mostly online, like ours is. I think the Coulter books on the coffee table are mostly unread, given as premiums for World Nut Daily subscriptions and right wing donations since her books are mostly bulk bought.

Yes, I had RW coworkers, although not many of them. They weren't bad people, just wrong, and if they read, they had completely different taste in literature from my murder mysteries and history books.
