Actress Carrie Fisher suffered a major cardiac episode while on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Friday and has been rushed to the hospital, according to multiple reports.

The incident was first reported by TMZ — which described Fisher as having a “massive heart attack” — and confirmed by multiple outlets, including NBC News and the Los Angeles Times.

Representatives for Fisher, 60, did not immediately return The Post’s inquires. Her brother, Todd Fisher, told The Associated Press she was in stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital Friday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency.

and the ventilator is probably breathing for her.

It pretty much just means that she isn't in danger of crashing....right now.

What it doesn't mean is that she is going to be fine.

I hope with every fiber of my being that she is, but as a healthcare provider for many years, I know that this doesn't always play out well.

Sable just means her vitals are not continuing to crash. Doesn't say anything about brain or organ damage or if said heart attack is actually survivable. What's extra worrisome sounding about this is that it happened on a plane which may mean a critically long delay in getting emergency care.

Like you though I dearly hope I'm wrong.
